NASA Research Announcement Information
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
periodically solicits proposals for specific NASA Research
Announcements (NRA). The Human Research Program (HRP) and
the National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI)
support NASA’s advancement into space by investigating and
mitigating the highest risks to astronaut health and performance
in exploration missions. The goal of the HRP is to provide
human health & performance countermeasures, knowledge, technologies,
and tools to enable safe, reliable, and productive human
space exploration. Similarly, the goal of the NSBRI is to
ensure safe and productive human space flight. The scope
of these goals includes both the successful completion of
exploration missions and the preservation of astronaut health
over the life of the astronaut.
